plenty of aggro outside the cricketers, down past the garage and towards bramall lane roundabout. police were a bit heavy handed but did what was required to stop it esculating to anything more serious that folk jumping about trying to look hard.

those barriers at the end of John St appear to be a total waste, i suppose they allow the police more control over the John St junction with home fans only coming from one side of the street.

police had herded fans across the st marys gate/bramall lane roundabout fans were crossing the dual carriageway not giving a fuck about the traffic,what the cops were thinking about there god only knows, could have been catastrophic really

Just read article about this is Sheffield's posher paper the Telegraph. You should try it if you haven't already, the news is about 7 days old same as in The Star but you only have to buy it one day a week
