That's really excellent news becaus it will suit our slick passing style and mesmerising off the ball movement. The ball will zip across the wonderful surface of our pristine Desso pitch nicely so we can waltz around their static defenders and pepper the goal with skidding shots, aimed perfectly into the corners. Their 'keeper will have a sore back picking the ball out of the back of the onion bag.

I'm so much more excited now.

Nowhere in Britain do they pour four fifths out, let it settle, top it up and you can watch the majesty of the aereation process flowing through your pint.

That winds me up no end.

Literally seconds before kick off they go into full flow.

What's the fucking point? Do the grounds staff just think "Ooh I know, lets soak the pitch before they run out, it'll add a fun, random element to the game"?
 
I wonder if Adkins will start the game with the same formation as we ended the Southend game..2-2-6

Check out the Railway, new owners, good range of local ale on. Cremorne is always good. Beer Engine as well (bottom of cemetery road)

Sheffield kick-started the real ale movement back in the early 80's when Dave Wicket (RIP) bought an old industrial boozer called " The Alma" and renamed it "The Fat Cat", Now we have award winning ale coming out of our ears, and no better time to enjoy a pint than Saturday afternoon, pre and post footy!

I had a choice of hotels. Apart from the Copthorne (far too pricey) the one nearest to BDTBL suits me fine

I had a pint of Five Rivers pale ale up in town yesterday and it was divine stuff.

I would seriously kill for the facility to go to the boozer pre match and stroll down to BDTBL every other weekend.

You'll have to buy a few bottles of local ale and buy a virtual reality headset Vic, hey presto, you are at BDTBL whenever you want to be!
