Probably few of you know the one we are going to talk about. Billy Sharp forward of Sheffield United and although it seems like we’re lying and few people know the best forward in England in the 21st Century.


Who is Billy Sharp?

He’s an old school forward (very old school), a striker we like, but he doesn’t look like other professional footballers. Many footballer have tattoos, ear rings and sports cars but Billy isn’t this type. He’s had a career that is now already well into his 30s, and he’s played in league 1, league 2 and championship. He’s spent the majority of his career at Sheffield United the club of his life in which he has 3 periods.

What’s happened with him is he’s had the most goals in the 21st Century in all English Professional leagues, Ricky Lamberts previous record who had 219 goals and Wayne Rooney who had 208 and remember he’s left the Sheffield club and came back.

Similar rise as Jamie Vardy and similar to Ricky Lambert to play in the PL late in his career as he’s only made a token presence in the PL so far.

It’s pretty standard stuff but you get the idea.
