I've been before so I'm taking an oxygen tank and binoculars. The top tier is a quarter of a mile from the pitch apparently. No escalators like at Wembley though. Geordie cheapskates.

Random St James's Park fact, but I went on a stadium tour there last year as part of a University course through work and after the match the club has the ability to control of the traffic lights outside the ground to enable their players to get away from the ground quickly and avoid getting swamped by fans. Hopefully they'll be sympathetic to our team bus as it heads sheepishly to the Championship.
