To be honest, if it wasn't for The Football League Show, I'm not sure many people would know Wednesday were still in business.

As yesterday's events are sinking in ... I just wondered if we managed to breathe new life into the FA Cup. I think yesterday was good for football outside of "the big four or five". There was everything yesterday ... great football, drama, passion, fluctuating fortunes .... Steve Bruce said you should be "very, very proud" ..... and you were VERY, VERY LOUD ....... that kind of constant racket that's pretty menacing .... and the earlier comment about you having no-one to hoof it to so you play properly, your wingers were a problem and at times you looked like you were opening up our reputedly stingy defence at will ... you just won a load a huge respect for us lot and when you go up .... not if, there'll be plenty around here who will think "about time" .... and we know the momentum of the first promotion aids the next ..... by the way, what do you lot think of Leeds? Have a bright day you lot and if any Wednesday fans try it on .... learn how to be irritatingly smug. You were there, they weren't .... they're a non-club.

If there was a cup for that trait, Wednesday, Leeds and wet sham would get to the semi finals every season. :-D been good this season to see the same trait being wiped off Newton heath fans faces.

Brilliant assesment of our irrelevant rivals HCF.

All the Hull fans we spoke to on the train last night were of the opinion that Bruce won it for them at half time. Couldn't argue with them on that, the first 10 minutes of the second half were the real difference in the 90.
Good luck in the final, would be good to see Wenger trophyless and jobless come the summer.

Well, Wednesday are a bit ... invisible aren't they? It's a bit weird ..... they're like the custard powder in Aldi ... you know they have it in stock, you know it exists but you never notice it ....

Or where exactly to find it when you go looking for it.

I'd say they're more like the smashed bottle of fish sauce which got knocked off the shelf and behind a pillar in the Co-op years ago and wasn't cleaned up. You can smell it faintly as you pass but you don't want to get close enough to find out exactly what it is.*

*True story - Fulwood LateShop. It stank.
