I wish all Blades fans well. Good luck an' all that. Do your thing. But, I just could not live my football life like that. Worried. Nervous. Expecting the worst. Thinking it's only going to go one way. I guess I'm sheltered. I don't know any Blades in real life who think like that. I suppose it's just different sides of the same coin. But, I just wouldn't get any enjoyment watching a game with those thoughts hanging over me.
All fair points. Personally a lack of nerves would mean I wouldn't enjoy it as much. I need a bit of fear to get me up for it. Either way we're all wanting the same outcome 🙏

Early on in the season during the Slav disaster period, I genuinely feared relegation. Now we have given ourselves a chance of going up. An amazing turnaround. So we really shouldn't fear this.

Its a free hit, with some big unknowns that make it exciting not worrying.

Will Fulham played the relaxed football of champions and take us apart as we push hard for goals, or will they play a weakened side that is already dreaming of sand and sangria and doesn't fancy mixing it in front of a hostile full house?

Will Jeckyl or Hyde United turn up? We have been bloody awful at times this season, but we have also been brilliant in spells. If we play to our best, I've no doubt we can beat them - we've already done it once this season.

To paraphrase Hecky, we love football for moments like this. He was talking about the players, but it applies to us too. As long as the players and the crowd give it their best, I'll be happy with the end to this season.
I dispute it's a free hit. At the start of the season we were among the favourites for promotion, with an expensive PL squad and parachute payments. We should have expected play-offs minimum.

Yes we had a shit start but that's now irrelevant, we are where we are on merit and are 11/4 second-favourites for the final promotion spot. I'll be very disappointed if we don't make the play offs from this position.

If our shit start is irrelevant than surely so is our pre-season status as among the favourites for promotion.

From looking very much like going down to being in with a chance of going up, in my opinion makes this a bonus feature.

I’ve just had a £10 treble on it all going tits up with us losing and Luton and Boro winning. I never win bets so I hope it’s a tenner well spent!

I was considering doing the same but I couldn't get interested by the odds.

Boro 8/13 to win at Preston is particularly stingy imo.

I'm not particularly confident about today but my approach is get behind the team and see what happens.

Based on the games today, I just think it's more likely Boro beat Preston, Luton don't lose, and we lose than other scenarios.

Not sure why people get hung up over opinions and feelings about what the outcome may be, its football for you.

No-one really believes we're going to win every game deep down.

The only thing that matters is that those attending try and create a positive atmosphere to give the team the best chance.

This year we will do the double over Fulham (far and away the best team in the division), we will make the final of the play offs and for the first time ever, WIN IT. Asa Blades supporter I expect the best and not the worst when I go. Yes I saw us lose to Wolves at the Millenium Stadium but at 3 - 0 down we looked dangerous until the last few minutes. Yes, I saw us lose at Old Trafford to Arsenal in the cup semi final but for a wonder save by Seaman we would have levelled it. I will listen to the reports from afar of 11 men v 11 men (at the start) on the same grass surface and why won't we feel we can beat a team at home we have already beaten away. COYRAWW.

The only reason that you came
So what you scared for?
Why don't you always do the same?
It's what you're there for, don't you know?

Put on your dancing shoes Blades.

It was the principle, I got 9.8/1 on the treble and I’m overjoyed it lost.
