It is a minor gripe in the overall scheme of things, but I do find the decision to 'retire' the purple shirt and then only release the white shirt as a limited addition utterly perplexing. I do have a plain white tabela 14 which I have considered badging up but fear it wouldn't be the same without the invitation to bumsex logo on the back.

Since the Forest away game, by my reckoning the purple shirt has been worn twice, on Friday self-evidently because the white away shirt would be insufficiently distinct from the red and white home shirt. To all intents and purposes the purple is the third strip and the white is the away strip. Like I say, inexplicable if the purpose of producing replica kits is to allow kids (and big kids like, er, me) to wear the kit that their heroes turn out in.

I think the purple kit thing is a bit weird. We did the same thing the first season with adidas with the black away shirts. Wore them once maybe twice then switched to a yellow shirt. Although I'm sure that was something to do with sponsorship where this is just the colours as all the shirts have the same sponsor?

Considered something similar myself in the past but no idea where you would get a badge to sew on?

Ebay, but check the sizing, one guy is selling patches that are twice the size of the ones on the bona fide shirts.
