Another incompetent ref

The ref was shocking and allowed some of the most physical ‘football’ that I’ve seen in a while. Can’t believe they didn’t pick up one booking. Our bookings were all for petulant stupid shit which makes it even more annoying.

I don't know how in our last two games we've picked up more bookings than the opposition.

Absolutely brutal defending by them.
I've not seen the like since the 80's and yet not one booking

Few really nasty ones including leaving the foot in late and making a back.for mcburnie

Hope they go.back.down.to their level
Agree completely. Said to our lass I’ve not seen this much needle and fouls since the 80’s! Was good to watch but at the same time not as the ref was wank and lost control many times
Good point though against a team that ain’t mugs

Abysmal performance from the ref. Berry alone should have been off for deliberate handball and booting Doyle in the chest. Ndiaye one was nasty but they were constantly leaving the boot in and going in late. As soon as a side like that suss a ref isn’t going to curb it, they up it 5 fold. Ugly football from a dirty side completely facilitated by an incompetent ref.

Webb is not a ref he had no control he just played the homer. If that game was played with a ref the result could have been different. I am just happy that even with his non protection of players 11 players came out of the game.
Webb needs to watch that back and have a talk with himself ,he looked like a deer in the headlights and totally incompetent. I would love to know what his linos thought of his performance.

I mean, the ref let too much go but then the bookings were fair, weren't they?

Ndiaye doesn't move back 10 metres and just stands there
McAtee drags his man back after he'd gone past him
Baldock booked for a blatant professional pullback
The only one you can argue was McBurnie but he did rather encourage our fans to come on the pitch. Difficult as it's such a tight pitch but I wasn't surprised.

Did you wear a fucking welders mask when you saw Baldocks booking? It was shoulder to shoulder, and soft as shit at that. See that's what's ruining football, pricks falling down and winning free kicks but worst of all, some of you silly fuckers try to justify it.

Complete fucking fannies game if that was a foul, even more so a booking.

You are indeed correct about Baldock. It was the shoulder with a shove behind it. Goes to show how good my memory is.

However, he took a player out who was breaking on us. It was a professional foul and a booking. It wasn't two players side by side going for the same ball.

Was going to post same. Why was McBurnie booked anyway? He didn't jump in crowd or remove his shirt?

This law needs to change imho.

If he'd stood on the edge of the pitch goading the Luton fans, he'd have got no card. See it regularly, booked for exuberant celebrating with your own but allowed to wind up the opposition.

Which one is inciting the crowd?

That was my take from the match.
It was so physical, loads of pushes and 50/50 fouls totally ignored, just like watching a match from the 80's.

It's obviously the new rule where refs need to be more lenient, so maybe the ref wasn't poor, maybe he was just applying the new instruction.
Based on last night Luton will be a tough side to beat, so maybe a point is a great result.
