Another Blade gone

Had some bad news today. Steve Sanderson has passed away. He will be well known to the "Valley Lads" and a lot of Blades who travelled away. He was diagnosed with Lung Cancer 2 weeks ago and has gone so quickly. RIP Steve.

I saw the parents of Harvey Willgoose before the game on Saturday. Stopped me going toys out of the pram to a degree afterwards. Certainly put it all into context.

I'm sorry to confirm it is him. Gutted. He was a fair bit older than me. More my dad's age.

But was a top top bloke. I was in my late teens when he lived next door. Always looked up to him. Good looking bloke, snappy dresser. Top Blade.

My hearts dropped,used to go everywhere when we were young kids to the footie. Quite a few from Wharncliffe side also,yes he’s a good looking lad,know his ex wife quite well. Dreadful news for many.
