Another 1000 pig tickets

To any Blade with 37,500 priority points and ST holder suggest you get down to Lane in person if you can as that will be the best way to get a ticket now. Worked for me the other day. If they don't put the sell out notice up in the next 30 minutes then may be a chance in person for the 35,000 lot at 2 p.m if you go now and queue. Good luck to those after a ticket. You never know Pigs may release some more if they are selling out that quick.

The away allocation ruling in the PL is a minimum 3000 tickets or 10% of your capacity, which ever is lower.
If we go up then surely it will be exactly the same as when we were last here.
In that 2007 season our lower tier officially held 2,990 and the PL accepted it, even tho it was 10 short.

My point was if we increased the capacity to 42,000 as planned (altho the ownership in fighting might change this) then I would expect us to possibly give away teams both tiers plus some of the corner bit, which would be 7,000 seats.

I believe that the Lower tier of the Lane end, when all the ridiculous netting has been removed, meets the 3,000 seats threshold, Sheffsteel. Just.

A look at the away followings (excepting the nonsense where the club misjudged home demand and gave Liverpool upper tier tickets for the opening game), Everton has the biggest following (3,002), followed by Newcastle and West Ham (both 3,000), Chelsea (2,991) and Man U (2,990). All were accommodated on the lower tier.

I believe it was a sell out then the club started releasing blocks of restricted view tickets a bit at a time.
Agree, most of the restricted view were sold but I think they were about 20 virtually “no view” tickets not sold.
So strictly speaking it wasn’t a sell out but agree total sell outs are quite rare, although last years derby DID completely sell out.

That is correct. There was an article on the official site confirming that the match in November had sold out.

That truth won't get in the way of Pigs peddling the fiction that the game at the Lane didn't sell out. Cretins.

Fair play to Wendy they’ve done the sensible thing in giving us the tickets once they’ve realized they wouldn’t sell out

Well done me tuna man

I've lost count, h9w many tickets in total did we end up getting? Wonder if they have left a lot unsold in the lower tier so they can move our lot in there from other parts of the ground as I'll bet there's plenty of Blades got tickets for the home end.

Completely sold out now on the OS. Doesn’t state that it’s the final allocation though. Fingers crossed we get even more, we need that end as packed as possible.

Up to now they've given us 3,951.

Why don't they just give us all the tickets in Leppings Lane
WTF are they messing about at

They're worried about pitch invaders in the bottom tier but how is it going to make any difference whether there's a 1000 on there or a sell out

Just talked to a lass at the ticket office. Said they don't know if we'll get another allocation yet. A bit of hope.

Probably not then as they were more optimistic the other day about further allocations saying there was a chance of more tickets. We are 649 short of the 4,600 allocation Weeds and Villa got. We could sell them easily tomorrow morning. Doesn't seem any reason why Wendy can't release them.

I can see us all being kept behind in the ground until midnight at this rate !!

On the ticket allocation, I agree with a lot of folks on here that they should have given us the entire Leppings Lane to start with because we would have completely sold out.

Although grateful for the further allocations made (and any further ones perhaps), what a fucking lash up Wednesday have made of this.

This reeks of an incoming further allocation. As much as I’d love them to give us the whole bottom tier, it’ll probably just be another few hundred

I’ll take any tickets off anybody for the pig end. I can’t begin to tell you how many fans I know who are going in their end, should be interesting and the pigs own doing.

If they’re selling tickets below. Just hope we don’t give em another reason to restrict tickets at both grounds in the future. But it only takes one moron doesn’t it.

Wendy could do a job organising Brexit!

Un4-2nately I returned the pig end ticket this afternoon and collected the lower tier ticket from the Lane. They can be got if you know a Wendy.

Come on Wednesday, give us the WHOLE end !!!

Returning your ticket has caused 2 more blocks in the Pig South Stand to go from Red to Green :D Less than 25k pigs have bought tickets on the evidence below.

Come on Wednesday release the 649!
