Seasons tickets in the corner bit but not the BLUT. However It’s simply supply and demand. Why would we give Wednesday a couple of blocks knowing it would stop a few 1000 Blades from attending. You don’t bite off the hand that feeds you stopping home fans from acquiring home tickets.
If and when we expand the South stand and Kop taking capacity up to 42,000 then you can bet Wednesday will get about 7,000 tickets. There’s no way McCabe would restrict it down to 4K just because they give us 4,000.
Can't you get season tickets up there and in the Westfield corner? I'm almost certain about the Corner, puts paid to any idea of giving them it really, maybe a couple of blocks near the business centre with some segregation but Westfield Corner STs has pretty much guaranteed BLUT for Blades now.
Who has slagged United fans off ?There's always one isn't there, so keen to slag United fans off
There was 30,261 at the Lane, that's with the first 6 rows in the upper tier left empty, the bottom sections linking John Street to Bramall Lane empty, the bottom section of the Cherry Street stand closest to Bramall lane left empty and Wednesday's support limited to 2,100 or so on a lower tier that holds 2,900
And I thought I was unpopular on ‘ere!Pork talk in meltdown..

Yeah, if we can sell to our own, they should get first dibs obviously.
Just saying I can't really see it changing even if we manage to go up, the Westfield Corner and BLUT are pretty popular now with our own fans and if we did go up touch wood and all that, we'd have even more demand, unless there's some guidelines I don't know about for away fan ticket availability.
If there are still over 1,000 empty seats in the upper tier, then why are these extra 1,000 tickets in the lower tier?
I asked you who was slagging United fans off . The post you refer to didn't as it was a post in response to another comment.Well stop talking garbage then about it not being a sell out
If SAG and SYP and both clubs deem that the capacity for the game should be 17 on safety grounds and we sell 17 tickets it's a bleeding sell out regardless.
Did you really expect 32,609 to be there because that's what the stadium holds ?
I asked you who was slagging United fans off . The post you refer to didn't as it was a post in response to another comment.
The game wasn't a sell out. The club never announced it was a sell out as all available tickets weren't sold. Not many seats spare but it wasn't a sell out. I didn't comment how many fans I expected to be there or criticise the fans for not selling out. There have been derby matches at both grounds over the last 30 years where all available tickets weren't sold.
I didn't even slag the pigs for potentially not selling out on Monday.
There are reasons these games aren't selling out e.g. prices,tv,kick off dates and times, ticket selling restrictions and so on. But no criticism of fans from either club has been posted or implied.
Ok, I misunderstood your original post as a veiled dig at United fans
Sorry about that
But most games aren't sold out totally, ie, every single seat filled, even at Man Utd
If they were they'd have exactly the same attendance every week
There are a few absolutely horrendous seats at our stadium that even a blind person wouldn't buy
United's attendance for the home game was as close to a sell out as is possible with the number of perfectly good seats that we're deliberately left empty
I’m not going because I’ve never seen us win there. I’ll happily let you all see us win if I’m not there (superstition I guess).
I’ve got circa 33k points. I haven’t got a season ticket or membership this season so my points are actually scratched off to zero. Hardly fair really but is what it is (why do I need a ST for points to count anyway??). I still wouldn’t be able to get one if I did want one. We’ve had phones buzzing all week with people ringing for customer numbers with points on them. Someone’s on holiday so we can use that one. Other person hates the Wednesday bastards so he’s not going, have his. That person gets points without going but this is becoming the norm and a side-point anyway.
Just promise me you’ll bellow the place down and go home with sore throats.
You need a season ticket because season ticket holders get priority, this has been the case since the dawn of time.
All the points I’ve accrued over the years are meaningless at the minute. Memberships are £30(???) so think I’ll get one of them. Although I’m waaaaaay down the pecking order for tickets. If I get them then good. If not, I don’t.

Just got one online with my 39900 loyalty points.
Phew!
