The normal arrangement is we give them the upper tier 2.200 and they give us the upper tier 2,600.

However if we can’t sell the BLUT we’ll offer that to Wednesday and if they can’t sell the lower tier then we get that.

At the end of the day football is a business, so all clubs should try to maximise their income.

The problem with that scenario at BL is when do we decide we can’t sell out the BLUT and what do we do with Blades who have already bought there?

There was 30,261 at the Lane, that's with the first 6 rows in the upper tier left empty, the bottom sections linking John Street to Bramall Lane empty, the bottom section of the Cherry Street stand closest to Bramall lane left empty and Wednesday's support limited to 2,100 or so on a lower tier that holds 2,900

Exactly what I was thinking WYB and they’ll probably space the seats out rather than give us a couple of concentrated blocks to make it look like we couldn’t sell our tickets. Cunts

Why give us 1000 in the bottom section when they've sold us about 1000 short in the upper tier

Can't you get season tickets up there and in the Westfield corner? I'm almost certain about the Corner, puts paid to any idea of giving them it really, maybe a couple of blocks near the business centre with some segregation but Westfield Corner STs has pretty much guaranteed BLUT for Blades now.

That’s the official caoacity.

Leeds were given both tiers just before Christmas, they sold them easily and wanted more.

Wednesday game then just over 4,600 for the Friday night game also on Sky.

Seasons tickets in the corner bit but not the BLUT. However It’s simply supply and demand. Why would we give Wednesday a couple of blocks knowing it would stop a few 1000 Blades from attending. You don’t bite off the hand that feeds you stopping home fans from acquiring home tickets.

If and when we expand the South stand and Kop taking capacity up to 42,000 then you can bet Wednesday will get about 7,000 tickets. There’s no way McCabe would restrict it down to 4K just because they give us 4,000.

Exactly, and during our discussions with Danny we said the same thing
We have played them in the past when United were total dogshite and they got both tiers every time.

If the home fans are not turning up, sell both tiers to the away fans. If the home fans are keen to see the game well then it's one tier only
