The sloppy lot on the other side attribute this to "we don't want the great unwashed in our ground" but then when we have fewer allocated they pipe up with "poor following, hardly turned up in number". We can only sell what you give us and let's be honest...

I think they give 4600 when they give the whole end. So we're up to 4000 ish now.

Maybe another few hundred coming, but I imagine they'll not sell the very front and a couple of columns on the sides.

If we're honest, it's a big cultural shift to have any public figure questioning the role of SAG, SYP or the football clubs themselves when it comes to these issues. It's been a topic of conversation for years now, and he was the first person to give it space. On that basis he deserves credit.. And voila - more tickets! Lets hope we hear the reasons behind the change in attitude, and see a more transparent approach taken in future. Irony: I was the guest columnist and my younger brother still won't have enough points (34k).
