Nice one guys Like Chads prediction of 3.0 to us but would settle for any win

Enjoyed that thanks.....informative and entertaining
it still cracks me up when Chad calls our Norwegian midfielder "Sandy Barge" ha ha.

Regards the podcast.
1: Was impressed how Chad said we could be 100 points clear at the top and he still wouldn't feel fully confident at the start of a match.
He's now feeling it as an authentic Blade. I've been watching us for 45 years and when ever I think we're unbeatable and guaranteed to win, we often perform badly and lose. Conversely when we're in a bad run and I think we've no chance, we'll occasionally produce a really good performance and win.

2: Good point about opposition teams coming to Bramall Lane set up very defensively trying to frustrate us.
So when we score an early goal their whole game plan is down the drain and the match is seems almost over as a contest.

3: Regards comparison between this team and Wilders promotion team. The Wilder team was tactically better drilled, defensively solid and used the overload the wings tactic brilliantly. That team was brilliant at winning by 1 goal but rarely thrashed teams.
However this team has far more talented individuals and has a far stronger bench. It has more potential to really excel and be far better than Wilders team.

4: Regards comparing Doyle and McAtee. Think Doyle is a ready made "above average" engine room type consistent midfielder, a great allrounder.
Where as McAtee is more of a N'Diaye type player, more talent and flair but more maybe more inconsistent due to his style.
Think McAtee (like N'Diaye) is the type that can be having a quiet game then produce a moment of magic from nowhere.

5: Regards McBurnies recent up turn in form. Hate to be cynical but I think it's down to him coming near to the end of his contract.
We see it a lot in the English league, players sign big contracts and their form quickly dips, then amazingly when a player is in the final year of their contract they return to their best level. McB is now literally playing for his future and you can tell, his work rate/ attitude and effort is through the roof.

Thanks lads I’ll listen to this on my way home from work
Good win for Galaxy btw , think that’s done the Revs with the New York teams coming up

I’ve read this claim a few times and I don’t agree with it. When Lunny was in the last year of his contract he was getting slagged for not trying and that didn’t make sense either. Can’t we just accept that footballers are just like everyone else in that they have good and bad periods of form…McB has been injured and ill and hasn’t performed anywhere near his best, now he isn’t injured or ill he’s looking good. That’s a perfectly good explanation staring us in the face.

Seems to me that this is a more rational interpretation than some contract expiry conspiracy.
