Can anyone name any other somersaulting Blades?
Yes, I did in the late 1980"s. Too much beer pre- game. Running down the steps at the back of the kop and did a somersault with a triple salchow thrown in!
Spent the rest of the game trying to dry a pee stain out. Good old days.

Furiously rubbing your groin? Just tell them you were sharpening a few coins to chuck at the away fans.

I really like the look of the lad from what I’ve seen of him. In terms of first touch, in possession, dribbling etc….. he is top class and shows real ability.

He’s one of a few that I have been excited about coming through the ranks.
Will this pleasure never end ?

I think we’ve been aware that our academy has had a handful of very decent young players for some time. The way they have been performing in the u23 and u18 leagues has shown that it would be just a case of time as to when we would have a handful of useful scholars come through the ranks and knock on the door.

We are still doing everything right at academy level, despite the obvious limitations in set up.

His physicality has come on leaps and bounds, but I guess part of that is naturally filling out as well.

As I said earlier in the thread, I’m excited about this lad. He ticks every box of what is blades fans like to see in a player…. Technically he is all round superb, footballing brain and confidence is top notch…he is going to lift bums off seats.

I genuinely hope he gets a sniff at first team football…who knows, what with the injuries.. maybe his time is now??

Didn't have time to show much, but what he did do was keep the ball at the business end of the field, battled to win the ball and they had a bugger of a time getting it off him. Today will have done his development no harm at all.

As others have said, only got a few minutes but the few touches he did have, he looked comfortable and tidy on the ball. Didn’t look like it was his first ever professional start.

I'm sure he was wearing a medical boot at the Luton game

I thought he was class v spurs
You must have been at a different game to me because he definitely wasn't class.
Average debut looked a little lost and like a rabbit in the headlights. Certainly didn't do enough to push for inclusion in the Championship squad.
I am not writing the kid off but he didn't look ready for Championship football just yet.
