An omen?

This evening I went to an auction in a pub down the road, here in Boston.

One of the items was a ceramic football-shaped money box with the Sheffield United badge on it.

I bought it for £1.

Not that I need a money box but I felt the football gods were telling me something.

A lucky omen for this season perhaps?

If it doesn't work, I'll give it to my grandson. It will annoy his other grandad who is a Notts County supporter.

I was buying some spearmint in a souvenir shop just off Trafalgar Square just over a week ago and believe it or not, noticed these little beauties on sale.!!



Was half expecting Jeremy Beadle to jump out with a film crew or summat but then remembered he`s been dead four years. Gutted.
