...to watch a team fizzing with ideas, full of spirit and packed with footballers from back to front, passing and moving. That second half display was terrific - controlled, composed, always on the front foot. A credit to the manager.

The best team generally wins the league. We are far and away the best team in this league.

And have been the best side in the league since October. Quality...just quality.

The days of Monty, Morgan, Booker and so on are fading thankfully.....much as they are past heros and legends.

United's only potential problem is themselves
They've been at it from the first whistle against Scunny and Bolton, but they cannot rest on their laurels in the so called lesser games
There are no lesser games now

The manager wouldn't stand for them "resting on their laurels" - he's instilled a will to win into them.

Yes, I think so too
But players are players, it's in their nature like many other employees to toss it off occasionally and create pressure for themselves
The Walsall defeat, Gillingham draw, and Fleetwood defeat tells us that we cannot take anything for granted.

Over the moon!!!
Keep it up now boys, the finish line is coming into view!!!

just seen on sky millwall miss not one but 2 separate penalties in injury time . in the 0-0 draw at oldham

pitch looked dreadful
but we will glide on it

yeah like CW will let the standards drop

Apart from CW's eagle eye on performance for the rest of the season, the squad seems to have such team spirit and will-to-win mentality that I think the players themselves will keep each other on top of their games :):):):):):D

12 games to go, bradford only top 6 at home
just 7th 9th and 10th out of the top half to play
8 against bottom half teams
7 wins and one draw sees us hit 90 points , cant see anyone matching that lower end total
think we will finish with more

The bloke sat next to me reckoned it was bullshit the way we were passing it about with 2mins remaining. Purple in the face screaming gerritforrad.............. unbelievable.

Whilst I was the dickhead screaming for them to take it into the corner and play for time as soon as we got the second goal. Takes all sorts!

An apt thread title for me to post rare after match thoughts.
Our Chairman.... is a Blade
Our Manager..... is a Blade
Our Captain .....is a Blade
Between those three and us in the stands it's not surprising that not just the team, but the whole squad appear to get what being a Blade means to us all. I honestly think they really do now understand. We have no more mercenaries, has beens, journeymen & the like who've turned up at the Lane & milked us for everything they can while giving bugger all in return.
This bunch of players give their all week in, week out.
Easy to say when we're top of the League ?. Maybe, but as we all know things didn't look too rosy at the start but they've dug us out of it..... in style. I honestly cannot remember the last time I watched us this season & thought so and so or whoever has tossed it off this afternoon & coasted through 90 minutes. Sure, none of them can put in a full 90 minutes of perfect football every week but they all put in 90 minutes of effort....it's been a while since a Blades team did this.
The reception on 90 minutes theses last two weeks speaks volumes.
They've given us our pride back & I think they're all just as proud to pull on our famous red & white shirt.
Enough now, I'm off out to make myself Jaipurly.

Note..... I'm now fully claiming the "Super Hans" tag I gave him first after the Wimbledon game particularly after today's effort.

You can't educate some folk....stuck in the dark ages.
Beating the side that last August most reckoned would walk the league at a canter to go 10 points clear of them....and STILL whinging.

Bell end

its a great investment if its enhancing this silky sexy football we are playing to be seen at its best

It's a VERY good investment.
Not only are we seeing actual talented footballers on the pitch in red and white, playing a passing fast game....we can also use the pitch for other events to raise money...like Boxing, concerts etc.
Shows the myth that that money would have been better spent (or more likely wasted) by Adkins was also bollocks.

To be honest, I thought the Desso investment was worth it purely for all the time-lapsed videos we were all able to enjoy in summer 2015. The added income and better playing surface is just a bonus to complement that excellent BladesPlayer content.
