I'm not posting this in the rumours section as they aren't rumours. But my first reaction was sign him and sign him.....surely with our depleted squad, these two could add something.....thoughts?

I would be interested in McAuley, but reading between the lines of what he's saying, it sounds like he's failing to face the reality that a lot of players are going to be facing as their contracts run down over the next couple of years. Their wages are going to be reducing, not increasing.

Both good, strong players. I'd take them in a shot if their wages were reasonable.

Even if we were interested in these players, we wouldn't be able to afford them.
There are some decent transfers available out there, but sadly - most are out of our price range.
