At least if we go down with the Wednesday we can always say that we not only beat them twice but relegated them too!

It's very doubtful the three teams above the Pigs will finish above us if we lose every game.

However, I can see us finishing a couple of places above the bottom three.

Not sure how that will help the overall mood of the club. You can say staying up was the main objective after the first couple of months but we were literally two wins away from being genuine play off contenders. Then the wheels came off.

As they did last year

I think that we have escaped, I can't see us going down , I can't see 2 teams below us catching us , I think we managed it with the mid season run which lifted us out of the bottom 3 , which if you recall took some doing due to the catastrophic start , ,we were winning but not pulling clear , then when we did many started talking about play offs and looking how many points we were away from 6th and although I too kept thinking if we win this and beat them we could do it , but in reality I was always looking how many we were clear of the relegation positions , , When Wilder came back my hope was he would keep us up and he has ( I think) , the fact we are safe by Easter is actually quite a relief and should probably be celebrated more than it is being , if it had gone to the last game with us surviving with a point at Derby we would have been celebrating instead we can calmly enjoy the last few games knowing nothing of too much importance matters on the results , but I might just keep an eye on those below us just in case

That we will have to avoid defeat at Derby County to avoid relegation.I am old enough to remember last game defeats resulting in “the drop” and this season has the stench of a repeat of Walsall,Wigan & Chelsea, there are probably others as well, but if you can’t defend properly you are F…..D !!
Even if we lost the last 6 games 0-5, there is no chance we can or will go down.

We're 11pts above relegation

If Oxford and Leicester can make up 2 points a game then they deserve to stay up. I'm the most pessimistic Blade going, but even I don't think we will lose the next six.

Yes you are, Leicester and Oxford have averaged a point per game over the season to date, they’re not suddenly going to start averaging 2 points per game over the final 6 games. We’ll manage to get a few draws from a winning position to see us easily over the line.
I can confirm Leicester City will categorically not manage to get 12 points from our last six games.

Although we do have Wednesday on Monday which should be three points and if we don’t win that I think it’s time to start preparing for a trip to Plymouth next year, another points deduction, and potentially going out of business.
