I would be tempted to offer Dozzell a 1 year contract too, just to get some more experience in CM, and he's left footed so adds balance in there.

Regards our prospects it’s currently a mixed bag and I reckon this team would finish around mid table but it’s not because we’re average. I think half the team is well above average and good enough for promotion but we have some severe weaknesses and don’t have strength in depth to deal with injuries.

We have loads of promising youngsters but we can’t rely on them to be consistent. Think it’s funny that we haven’t had a functioning midfield for a few years, but now it’s gone from the weakest part of our game to being our strongest.

Think 4 or 5 new players in the positions you mentioned might see us have a good season.

GK ( hopefully Cooper ) CB ( hopefully Worrall as very experienced at this level & a good leader something we sadly lacked last season ) RB ( Shackleton looked decent there but has an injury record , Seriki not ready yet at Champ level ) if Souza goes as expected a tall ball winner in midfield . And a partner for Moore up top , Osula improving and has a part to play but don’t see him as a starter & Brewster .. enough said !
Dozzell from what I’ve seen of him looks decent & would make a good addition to the squad

I'm praying Wilder has a Hendoesque loan keeper up his sleeve.

Another RB and CB and I'd be happy. According to YorkBlade we're getting Gilchrist from Chelsea on loan so that would fit the bill.

We look lively going forward but worry about our fragility at the back.

I never said that we are definitely getting Gilchrist.
If you look at the recent videos on Sheff United Way or audio podcasts, I'm simply reacting to players that journalists have linked us with, including Gilchrist.

Personally I'm not sure if we will or won't get Gilchrist.
Maybe it'll be 2 or 3 others or any number of different players we've been linked with in the past few months.

As a priority a new GK. Wilder is not daft and I think he’ll be reserving one of his loans for this.

Right back as he clearly doesn’t trust Sam Curtis yet. McCallum looked great today maybe he could be shoe-horned into RB.

Centre back as I think one of the Nottm Forrest lads would make us all feel more confident.

Are you trying to say people shouldn’t have opinions, unless it agrees with yourself? Sounds like you’ve disagreed with every opinion given, surely there must be something you’ve agreed with as it’s a fan channel with loads of different opinions.

Are you suggesting there shouldn’t be YouTube channels providing SU information and opinions yet you frequent a fan forum…which provides a similar service

And the great news is both types of informed entertainment are free.

Agree…for any presenter on YouTube and regards ALL politicians there has to be a level of ego/ confidence that enjoy self promotion but that’s what tends help make them good.

I’m thinking of starting my own YouTube channel (not football related)….my motivation is to help others giving free advice but it’s going to require so much time and effort and I’m lacking confidence to make it as good as hope. It’s easier for me to sit back and wait for others to do it.

However, counts for nothing if we lose a couple of stronger players such as Anel, Souza or Hamer without replacing them … if that happens we will actually be worse off
