Where are you now?
How good was that?
Five matches
Four wins one draw.
Four without conceding.
13 goals for. 2 against

Today I thought we outplayed and out performed a decent side in every department . A side who were top two recently. Things are coming together nicely. I'm beginning to be more positive. It can only get better.
ALL since the return of Wilder of Nazareth.

I’m still here. I said all along that I’d be delighted to be proven wrong.

I was wrong.

Any chance of some custard with this humble pie?

In America. ?

I definitely wanted Wilder back, I was also more than happy if Dave Challinor came but Wilder is just such a good fit for united.

I do think i's a time to just come together now, whether people wanted Wilder or not. If we lose today the nay sayers come out again and that does do my nut in I have to admit. But let's just see how things go, get behind the lads and the team.

I didn’t want wilder back cause he played crap football and played players out of position with no tactics

We have played better football the last 4 games than we did 99% of the games last season with arguably a weaker squad

This team and side was always a mid table minimum squad and wilder is getting us back to that level and more

Bamford and Riedewald signings have been a master stroke

Keep Playing like that against Norwich and i’ll gladly eat humble pie. Need to be consistent, not in a promotion race currently so pressure off on expectations.

I think we’re currently playing better than we did for most of last season.

Signing Bamford has been a stroke of genius—allowed us to play 2 up top in a system that gets the best out of everyone.

Most of all, credit to Wilder for keeping faith with Peck who is proving that form is temporary but class is permanent.

I will openly admit, I didn’t want Wilder back on “MK2 or 3”

Where are you now?
Admitting to the above

Fair play to him for bringing the bunch together and also set the ethos right. I wasn’t expecting that result today to be honest, players do want to play for positions and opportunities to be in the side, so again credit to him for bringing that in. Am I glad to say I was wrong, season hasn’t finished yet but so far I definitely massively underestimated his impact.

After Derby at home I finally thought we were in a relegation scrap but a few games later, we're undoubtedly on an upward trajectory and a play off push is likely

The way he's taking the handbrake off is very encouraging. We didn't do this last season. We scored 3 goals just 3 times in the league. We've now done it 4 times in a row and smashed 4 past a decent team. This isn't just a coincidence. It could be down to playing with less pressure in mid table, but it could be a change in approach independent of that. Hopefully it is, and this continues.

I said when he came back that if he made us a more attacking side then that would buy him a lot of leeway with the fans. We now look better going forward than we have in years. Nobody should be unsatisfied with Wilder currently. Now it's a case of keeping it up. If we can it'll feel like a rebirth, an unexpected one - even for those of us who wanted him back

Wilder has had a bit of an easy ride, in a way. Huge pay off (possibly) and then comes back in with expectations massively reduced.

Perhaps this is why he's daring to play two up top and go for teams. Like he did after we blew the league, and headed into the play offs last season.

I love wilder though, for the record.

Easily the best blades manager in my life time, though I can make an argument for Bassett too.

Great game today

Pretty simple...round pegs in round holes. Now hes decided Tanganga isnt a right back and Seriki is playing where he should have been all season we have a firmer base.

Hes also decided that we look a much better team with 2 up front (remember Moore and Campbell last 1/4 of last season?) Combine that with a return to form of sorts from Campbell and Cannon looking like a player

Signing Bamford and Jairo was a master stroke. As is giving Brooks an extended run in the team as he gives us the legs and ability down the rigjt thst we have lacked.

January will be key as I dont think we need to mess with the team as much as hes indicated he might. Another centre back, another competent keeper and a proper right back to deputise for Seriki will do for me if we can keep Jairro and Bamford

Here 🙋‍♂️ My reasons for not wanting him back weren't football related. He's a loudmouth gob-shite who embarrassed the club numerous times with his behaviour. At times he acts like one of the embarrassing old boys who turn up coked off their face looking for a scrap. Wasn't and still isn't someone you'd want to represent the club on a global stage. Will most likely spit him dummy out and sneak out the back door next time we hit a rough patch...
