All these drinks breaks

Should really have done us a favour in this second half. Not like we were creating anything

My theory is that the drinks break gives USA TV channels a chance of showng 1 minute of TV ads.

They love games to be played in "quarters".

Surprised we haven't had anyone caught short during a match yet.

Last one I remember was Jason Puncheon a few years back but that was not a piss!

Nailed on to be kept for this reason, sadly.

A two minute ad break during the game will be big money.

I do think they should be made optional, there has been no need for them this weekend at all. Possibly our first game and the one against Man Utd definitely, but if it’s lower than 21 degrees, I really don’t see the point unless both teams request it before kick off

Agreed. It's sensible to have them given what time of year it is but today they were pointless. Should be optional.

They're part of the Covid-19 promises the PL have made to the Government to allow these post season, sterile snot test friendlies to go ahead. They can't be picking & choosing which games to use them in. Let's worry about them again once football is back.

I do think they will be kept next season even if we have a somewhat normal pre season...

Money to be made. Sky have already said they don't think they'll be doing the FTA games next year.
