Just back from getting ratarsed :D but this ref, tonight/last night deserves a pat on the back, every decision was right.. only one id say he got wrong.. the penalty appeal.

We need more like him tonight. Thats all :P

See you at Wembley!!

Did anyone else notice Halford putting on a purposeful deep voice on his SSN interview? :)

I think Wiley let a lot of things go, which in retrospect, let the game flow. If we hadn't have (spelling lesson here for you kids, "hadn't have" not "hadn't of") won however, I could be very pissed off about the pinching of yards PNE got away with at freekicks, goalkicks and throw-ins which were somewhat of a double standard considering the foul throw given against us as the to the inch requirements of the referees and linesmen.

He should have also dealt with Parkin more quickly, and I honestly believe that his linesman and fourth official told him it should be a booking at least... I don't think he realised who had actually made the "challenge".

Regarding that... SSN revelled in the "ball" and "tackle" euphemisms last night :D

I thought he was one of the better refs I've seen at the Lane this season, but I thought that after we scored he seemed to go a bit pro-Preston.

I also don't think he got the penalty appeal wrong; I've seen them given, and not given, and I thought that the keeper had every right to go for the ball.

He got better as the game progressed, he didn't start all too well.
