Tie some string between his legs tell him to close them and he could still play harp on em..

Says no movement on Leonard/Holmes - things not progressed - with clubs - Wilder said Friday is cut off point so you think we may be moving onto others now
Reed to Chesterfield- nothing in it
Jagielka - Says they would love him but suggested no chance
Brooks - See him part of the 1st team squad and feels he has a real chance

Says United wants 3 or 4 more signings with one in a forward thinking area

So not much really other than he went to Glastonbury!

That's not good enough I want insinuations based on some of what he said and reading into body language he displayed. Also conspiracy theories about selling players.

No complaints there. Reed can go for me...never really showed enough to make me think he'll get anywhere for us.

Leonard/Holmes - if they want stupid money I trust CW to tell them to fuck off and find other players to do as good a job.

Jagielka - I admit I got caught up in the hype but realistically he is out of our range/budget currently. I'd like to see him back at the lane one day but not at the expense of 2/3 other players at the moment.

Brooks - who knows? CW/AK will decide if he's good enough and if he is he'll get a chance. If not we can loan him out later.

Knill out.
But what position does sheeran play? Hopefully not centre half but I haven't seen him play so I will bow to knills knowledge, looks a bit like a certain little ginger lad we had a few years ago, so you never know, getting excited now about this one, get it in the rumours section.

Is Reed still with us?

Did he play last season?

I genuinely thought he was part of the famous cull last year!

Only way he'd be involved with our club is if we chopped his boring head off and used it as the fucking ball.

Hard to believe reed is only 19 and made his debut at 16. Unfortunately he is now victim of that hype and I am not sure what people expedt.

Wilder rates him and appeared to screw his head on and came on strong towards the end of the u23 season.

Plenty of time for him
Watch him closely and see how rarely he gives the ball away. Seen him a lot in the U 23's and he is a good player. Future star. Last time I said that - Michael Tonge. And also (I know I am not the first) Sam Graham - Bomber's son.

Some v good points Sheffielder - it's easy to forget just how young Reed still is. He undoubtedly got bags of ability but his biggest challenge will be to overcome his lack of size and adapt his game accordingly to compensate. Scougall failed, whereas Fleck, who is obviously stronger and better filled-out, has succeeded

A few protein shakes and shreaded wheat and he will soon rival our 'fat lad' captain.

'1 forward thinking player' assume that's Holmes.

I would be very very disappointed if we didn't sign another striker. I think we could go down with the forwards we've got, we only had Billy who could score goals last year nevermind a cut above. If he doesn't score who does?

Isn't this why Evans was bought? I don't think anyone is expecting immediate results from Evans but he hasn't been bought as a bit part player, surely?

We need immediate results though. Hanson won't score a goal, Clarke if fit MIGHT score a few, Lavery has never been a big goalscorer. Evans is a huge gamble based on 4 years ago.

Literally leaves Billy, so if he doesn't cut it...

If we don't sign another forward we are potentially screwed. Surely a forward who has recently scored a few goals at Championship level isn't too much to ask? Of all our players only Billy has EVER.

A bit of an absolutist Danny, given your reply it seems we might as well forget about existing alternatives and just consider Sharp as the only outlet for goals.

Truth is, I've no idea who will step up to the plate and give us what we need. What I do know is that Wilder's no mug and his experience will offer us solutions should we fail in specific areas. It's a first season back in the Championship, if we keep the ball out at one end and score a few at the other it might put a very different gloss on matters. Best advice is be patient and let Wilder do his job.

Leon Clarke hit form towards the end, an eye for goal

He was on the grassy knoll, the moon landings were really filmed at Butlins Skegness, and he recieved a mysterious call on 8/11 telling him not to get on any planes whilst he was on his jollies in the U.S ;)
