Yes - they did in the Summer.

Bit of a luxury player in some respects. Can win you a game on his own but can also disappear for long spells and not contribute very much at all.

I do often wonder why people post threads in the Rumour Mill and then state in the thread title that it isn't a rumour. Maybe we need a "Not a Rumour" player suggestions section.

That said, if I were suggesting a player I would just put it in the General Blades Chat section myself.

That said, if I were suggesting a player I would just put it in the General Blades Chat section myself.

Because if I just put the player of the name, people would wander in thinking we were rumoured as being connected to the player and therefore be disappointed.

Regardless, it's still closer to this section due to most of the rumours within being made up!

He turns a new deal down at QPR in July and is eyed up by Bristol and Forest but the ends up in League 1.

What is tempting Howard, Willo etc. to Pompey? when they is no guarantee they will be around.

And Williamson would have got first team football at the Lane. One can only assumes Portsmouth are paying more. How can that be possible?

Because they once had happy Harry in charge so the League dont see any cheating as the finanical fair play would be unfair on their fans.

What the OP saying there is about right.

Willo has said himself he was asked to take a 50 to 60% wage cut which means we were paying him about 20k a month last season. Not sure why many are complaining though he got injured within about 3 weeks of playing for Pompey. He is the wrong side of 30 and will just get more injuries from now on.

I agree with everyone else wondering how Pompey are getting away with it though.

There are also of course other rumours about why it suits he's at Pompey, but I'll not repeat those given that if they were without foundation I could find myself in more than a little trouble
