It's a beautiful summer's day with not a cloud in the sky. The fans are cheerful, optimistic and there's been the usual shenanigans at the Lion culminating in Jonny finding inventive new ways to touch Keenzy's bum.

It's May 13th... the last day of the season.

The previous weekend's fixtures have transpired that a draw between Sheffield United and Wigan Athletic would relegate West Ham along with either Fulham/Charlton to join Watford.

As a draw would suit both clubs... do you think it would be unreasonable for both teams to not particularly try and relegate the cheats?

A 1-1 to look at least like we're trying before we shut up shop for 70 minutes and enjoy the sunshine?

Or should we go all out, sod Wigan and maybe give cheating West Ham (who travel to Old Trafford) a lifeline?

Go for it, as we get more money the higher up we finish. If West Ham stay up and Wigan go down then Whelan will probably sue the arses of West Ham and the Premier League. Be interesting.

He starts it first not me, I'll probably be hoping my VCR records the Spanish Grand Prix as that's on at the same time as the match.

I think in these final 2 games we should go all out and try and finish as high as possible, we get more money for each place we finish higher as shorehamview said. Plus it would be nice to finish ahead of the boring mid-table teams like Middlesboring and if West Ham do get relegated that will be a bonus, if West Ham do stay up though, hopefully politics will send them down.

No chance of that.

FA rules (for what they are worth) state that football cannot be decided in a court of the land. Therefore, if the six teams (us, Wigan, Charlton and we can probably guess the other three) do take West Ham and/or the Premier League to court, they would be suing for economic loss and could only hope to seek monetary recompense.

Whoever went down would still go down and no external court could do anything about it.

I just can't bring myself to wanting us to draw to send down another team, as much as I hate them. That's just as bad as what they've done, and what Middlesborough did, which Warnock complained about. If we don't go out wanting to win every single match, we shouldn't be a football team.

I only chose don't care option as i'm too hungover. Still, let's just hope that 1: we stay up and 2: WHU go down whatever teams are fielded with WHU getting a points deduction for next season because of a huge pitch invasion with everyone taking a piss on the pitch.
