Shoutbox was the same. TBF, he did have a bit of a mare in the first 30, constantly lost the ball. Much better second half (to state the obvious).

He can have been shit in the first half and still have scored an all-important goal for us. I don't see why people are suggesting that if you said he was bad in the first half that you were somehow wrong - he was - then improved.

It was that moment where he was dispossessed after about 30 mins. He took 3 touches to try and control the ball in a dangerous area and lost it. I though fook me bash it’s not your day. From that moment on he was class. As were the rest of the lads, they got a foot in the game after that and it was far more even.

Wilder admitted he was thinking of taking him off in the first half. When he messed up his chance at the end of the first half I said "that's the one person you don't want that chance to fall to" but credit to him, he never stops and he earnt that goal.

I liked the way he learned his lesson, last second of the first half he dillied and dallied and lost his chance, then on 71 minutes he just hit it first time
