Adkins what did you want our front men to do today?

I'm no UEFA badge holder but there seemed to be no plan or understanding of what we wanted our front line to do. Adams, Sharp and Murphy are decent players at this level. They should terrify the opposition as a threesome and play to each others strengths. It was really easy for Gillingham to prevent any midfield ball so we rely on our forwards to be creative, make runs and make things happen.

Ours seemed like three moons circulating some strange planet.

We need to explain ant is wanted, the style and the interdependencies not just unleash three talented players.

Canterbury - football is very simple - if defenders don't defend and give it to the midfield and midfield don't feed the forwards then the game becomes difficult.

Our problems stem from the back. Gillingham have stuffed us 4 nil. Ronaldo, Messi and Rooney would not have fared any better.

Sorry, but the problems where highlighted last season when we played 5 in midfield for a lot of the time.

Why should it now be much different?
