• Sharp not far off fitness
• Che still got off the field distractions
• Still looking at one or two players leaving
• Not signing anyone although that may change
• Emphasised the need for togetherness and to stay positive - Fully Agree with this

We knew it would be really tough.

Bury have just lost 6-0 and you would expect a tremendous reaction to regain pride and that's what we got from Bury tonight.

They've been on a bad run but they have some quality players and we have to dig in, battle and show character because there are no easy games in this league.

Promotion is not won or lost based on one match. There's still xx points to play for this season and whilst I'm manager I can assure the fans we will endeavour to win every match.

We remain positive and we move on to the next game which is a really important match against Port Vale on Saturday.

We were without one or two tonight. It was bound to affect us. Collins is an international centre half and his loss was crucial. Any other team would have shipped six with such a disadvantage but we have a team of hardworking professionals who dug in and kept it to a reasonable score. The young lads did well, its a tribute to the academy that they could step up to the plate. But all credit to Bury, they bounced back after shipping nine in 2 weeks and I warned the lads they would have our pants down if we didn't work hard. I thought that when I introduced Billy on 89 minutes we might have got the three goals we needed but the fans really let us down.
