Bought myself one of the new lime green away shirts last week and after wearing it twice noticed thread pulls on about 15 places all over the front this morning, I cant recall having done anything to have caused so many in such a short time so am going to try my luck taking it back as I expected a bit more for my 45 quid, just thought I would ask first if anyone else has had problems with the same or any other climacool shirt ?, is this material prone to thread pulls ?...cheers

Just a thought - have you read the washing etc instructions? E.g. Adidas shirts say no fabric conditioner which I don't think is the case for other brands... That said, you'd think that sort of thing would affect colour/texture rather than causing loose threads...

Thanks but they occurred before washing... my mate bought one same day, both worn to two matches and nothing wrong with his, maybe I bought a dud, dunno

Ah, was just ruling it out as a possibility - but in that case, I'd definitely take it in and see what they say

I've avoided this problem by not washing mine yet.

Washing the shirt wasn't the problem Highbury, as I mentioned, the pulls happened before washing, one small area on the chest looked like it was unravelling after just two wears, will be interesting to see if the new one is ok, I may just have bought a defective shirt.
I just checked washing instructions for future reference and it does say no fabric softener to be used, also wash inside out.

Has anyone had any issues washing their DIY kits?
Nah, mine's a treat. Not had a single issue since - it is made out of hessian sacks though. I just hang it on the washing line and beat the dust out with a carpet beater. I might get some strange looks walking round with it on - but joke's on them; I saved £4.82 on buying a real one.

Not had problems with either last seasons or the new home shirt. I love this season's shirt and have worn (and washed) it a lot - no pulls or bobbling. I have a reasonably large collection of Adidas tennis shirts I play in and they have all stood up well to wearing and washing.
