apperantly he's on 70k a week according to their fans and they don't think they would allow him to go
 
You'd think Pulis would want a look at him at least
 
Would love this to be true but I just don't see it happening. When on form there aren't many better midfielders in the league.
 

Very much doubt he's on £70k a week. Can't see boro loaning him to a rival either. Maybe we are approaching other midfielders to make Southend think we ve moved on from Leonard.
 
Hope so. He'd fit into our team perfectly.

Don't see them loaning him to us though. But no harm in trying.
 
Would be a fantastic loan signing imo.

And imo certainly of the type of Calibre of players who could come in and immediately improve the team.

As has been said you’d think pulis would want to assess what he’s got available before making any decisions... so I’d file this one under unlikely.
 
In terms of Pulisness I'd put the current Boro midfielders in this order:

1. Grant Leadbitter
2. Jonny Howson
3. Adlene Guedioura
4. Adam Clayton
5. Adam Forshaw
6. Lewis Baker

But Guedioura's injured. So there's a good chance Pulis will want to keep Clayton. But if they did let him go, I don't think it would be to us.

Good old Subbuteo, by the time you got out the big piece of hard board, carefully laid out your "pitch" on top of it, wiped out any wrinkles to get it as smooth as possible, then set up your teams, your mum would come in and say "can you start clearing that away, dinner's nearly ready"..........
