Academy next season

If we do manage to go up does anyone know if our academy gets the top status, as the johnstones trophy or what ever it's called would be a welcome distraction to the likes of man city, Liverpool etc ,as I've missed being beaten by Walsall these past few years.

Isn't the grading system based on the amount of money you spend on it each season?

As one of the teams who thought the whole thing was a disrespectful joke, I doubt we will enter it.

Would be good to see our kids spank the L1 pigs after they spiral into the FFP pit for the next 24 months

Sure you have to enter it aswell. That’s why man united aren’t in it

No it doesn't. Would need investment to get to category 1. Which hopefully is something we look into if we manage to stay up. Would mean we could pinch best youngsters cheaply.
