This lot are a disgrace to the shirt, unless there are major changes this team is going to drop down the divisions like a stone
I don’t agree.
They were outclassed yesterday and not good enough to remain at this level but lack of ability does not mean they are a disgrace. In my view they tried yesterday but were simply not good enough.
They will not drop down the leagues.

Hopefully a few are starting to see that Wilder is far from faultless in all this.

He signed a striker who not only doesn't strike, but can't be bothered to put a shift in. I've felt sorry for him at times but his lack of effort and work rate in many games is unforgivable imho.

After wasting that much alone on a dud it's not unreasonable to question recruitment and transfer policy.

Take the positives. If PH was actually still being considered then he will be less so now.
yeah thats a good point after that show surely the list is down to 3 now weve just been outclassed in the premier league this season its as simple as that but the championship is a poor league and with the right manager in and good championship additions i think weve every chance of a top 6 finish

Tactically inept, consistent poor play from most of the players....a £23m player who just looks lost and goes missing every week, a midfield with more holes in it than a golf course, no pride, no fight and no narrative coming from the owner.....worrying times indeed.
Yeah 23m player looks lost due to the clown who bought him not using him or managing him of course in some peoples eyes Wilder can do no wrong

No manager, caretaker or permanent should be judged on anything until this season is over. This is all on the bloke who left out of the bog window.

Been watching a bit of the championship relegation battle... This side is equally as bad as the likes of Derby, Rotherham, Coventry and the pigs
This month I 've been watching Rotherham matches. They are at least playing with passion, graft and heart. Something our miserable shower are definitely not doing.

Sorry but a disgrace to the shirt is wrong. Out of their depth, mismanaged, no quality or even loss of confidence:yes. Looking at it another way, McGoldrick will undoubtedly be P.o.t.Season in many’s eyes and this just shows where we are. Would he get in any other Prem squad?, no. So it shows how bad the other squad players have performed or been mismanaged. Big changes in management and squad undoubtedly needed.
Even the co commentator pointed it out,"the two forwards are just walking around" have a back bone, can we match Tottenham by passing out from the back no so turn there back line spin a couple of ball over in behind them forwards make aggressive runs midfield get up and support make the game horrible to play in.All I watched was Brewster walking hes a young lad trying to make his way in the professional game, you should never have to ask your players to put the effort in that should be a given sweat blood work your balls off.A cross came into Tottenhams box Brewster put the breaks on what's going on break your neck to get in there. I can stomach the opposition been better to come on fight for the cause

Agree in part, but yesterday was the first game this season where I felt more than one or two aren't putting a shift in. I don't just mean running around a lot but being lazy in thought as well.

Been unlucky with a few refereeing decisions too otherwise they would be out of the relegation zone, our lot gave up trying months ago

The Millers fans I know accept that the Championship is too big for the club and they're not really up to it but don't have a bad word for their players.

Lunny being a twat has left us having to play Norwood and Fleck together, both of whom’s legs have gone, this is killing us, the middle of the park is getting overwhelmed and outrun and outfought every game.

Fleck is the real worry he seems to have lost two yards of pace since this time last year he’s trying to do things he was doing last August - January and is just getting picked off by the opposition, this is leading to frustration and could have easily led to a red card last night, I am not convinced that stamp was an accident.

Norwood has never had pace but his once superb passing has gone to shit. Opposition are closing him down causing him to panic and give the ball away… now maybe (maybe) he can still do it in the Championship when you would think we would have more possession but it’s not a given.

We need two new midfield players with athleticism and ability in the summer. That will cost money unless we can develop a gem from the under 23s.

Big job for the new manager.

You must have watched a different game to me, the class difference was obvious but spurs also put far more effort in, they were first to every ball, a number of our players were not putting a shift in, not getting back and hiding, it was like watching a team with 6 lundstrams in it at times

i would love to know the players opinion on lundstram being picked week in week out and doing f**k all just wonder what it did for team morale and only one man to blame im afraid chris wilder

Norwoods passing is down to having nothing to aim at he put a beautiful ball in at one point that a true premier league striker would have buried but brewster just stood there feeling sorry for himself

You're spot on that we miss an athlete in midfield

Disgrace to the shirt is perfectly accurate for a number of those players, by the end of the season we will have broken the record of the most losses in the history of the top division and at least half of them look like they couldn't give a toss, they don't even look like they are trying.

Disgrace to the shirt sums up a lot of our fans and the reaction of our fans....

As this season has gone on, it's has been embarrassing to not only watch the team but also our a lot of our fans have reacted...

Frequently outthought. What was obvious was that Spurs often passed without needing a first touch, but our players, other than Berge, always need a first touch and therefore often get closed down,

I think that a lack of ability to pass first time and to think quickly means that we often got closed down. It then appears as if we are being outrun and therefore lazy, but I am not sure that was the case.
For example Osborn runs a great deal but was often out of position or caught with the ball, it would be unfair to label him lazy when what he lacks is thinking ability at this level.

I was asleep before the match kicked off.

Did I miss anything?

Agree to a certain extent but Brewster and Mcgoldrick were literally walking about or stood still marked by two players each for most of the first half.. I'm pretty sure the commentator even picked up on it at one point, it was only when Burke came on that the midfield had anyone to try and pass to

Yes, I agree with those two.

Not personally surprised by the reaction. After a belter of a season back in the Prem we have seen an equally dramatic fall from grace. Add to this the sense of frustration and hopelessness all Blades feel at not being there to make a difference.

I think the team has got off lightly. This is one of the worst teams ever (percentage wise we place 2nd all time in 140 years of all English leagues for most defeats from games played in a season). I do not get the criticism of fans at all. What did you expect? if fans were in the stadium they would have got absolutely hammered for some of the performances and defeat after defeat. They are very fortunate they have played in empty crowds.

Criticism is one thing, but some of the histrionic abuse of players/managers/former managers/owners who before this season have given us the best years most of us have seen has been over the top.

From the abuse aimed at the Prince from YouTube vloggers, the racist abuse he received on Twitter to some of the stuff that's on here about some of the players...

Look, we're all disappointed to say the least, but until we know who the manager is going to be, which players are staying, going, coming in - we don't know what next season will bring. The bed wetters saying we'll drop down to league one really do need to take a step back and breath. In fact I think we all do...

Although no one ever won by a four goal margin against a wilder led United side. A good thrashing is now standard fare most weeks.
