I was thinking about taking it nice and steady. Unfortunately Boydy has now decided to come so we'll have a few. I'll be swaying by the time we reach the pub.
 
Hes got one, but if theres one knocking about that doesnt need picking up from the box office (and noone else wants it) I'll nab it so we dont have to faff about as much before kick off.

I was wondering what happened to Tit Blade as well AND his SUISA sidekick Martin ("Keith Edwards is a Legend"). Did they just lose interest or are they posting elsewhere? Also Andy Nicholson "Halfway Blade" who was/is the BIFA Head Honcho. Where did he disappear to? Not to mention....

He actually runs another board these days for many old Unitedite.co.uk, VP and BU refugees. You will also find such luminaries as Raul, Meanwood Blade, Big Mart, Brownie, Pedantic Blade and a number of others. Basically, those who got chucked off BU for one reason or another.

On a side note, has anyone seen Fleety?

I don't know, that's why I didn't ;)

It's the title of a popular Blades anthem though. Eddie Colquhoun would approve of it.

Hello Ive just found the site. Wasnt a massive poster on BU but did contribute occasionally. Nice to see the more reasoned posters on here.
Looking forward to meeting old and new friends.
Hopefully Bilton will be joining us soon

I used to post on BU as Beighton_Blade, just joined here today after a brief (although not brief enough) spell on Blades-Mad. Is there another Beighton Blade then? lol I didn't realise there was ever another Beighton Blade on there, but since my flirtation on BM since BU's untimely death (RIP!:cry:) it seems theres literally LOADS of Beighton Blades out there in one form or another! Suppose S20 has always been a big Blades region but i didn't realise just how many posted on these forums!! Weird to think i might actually know one or two!!

Anywho, i'd like to see if this place can keep this good vibe it seems to have, much better welcome than the last place and more my sort of place i think!! Is Bergen on here yet? Used to really enjoy his tactical insights and discussed such things with him regularly - good lad that guy!! And has deadbat found his way here yet? It'd be a shame to not have his reports to read after a game this season!!:cry:

I see. I met him once in the early days of SUISA along with Peter Salt in the Yorkshire Grey and Webbo and Halibut Tatlock before a dire game against Pompey which we lost 1-0 or 2-0. It was raining all day and cold and truly forgettable. His wife who he met on the internet is American. Good luck to him anyway.
 
ELLO, ELLO, ELLO...Crack den...more like lunatics asylum, actually I've posted on there for a number of years under a different alias. Amongst the rubbish on there, there are a couple of posters who at various times have been ITK and put some very good stuff on. 98% of it is drivel though. What I do like about it is you can see all the threads on one page so can very quickly click into anything that takes your eye and quickly scroll down to look at comments by anyone you want to read ignoring the rest.
 
I saw mention of the Rutland earlier. I'm guessing you all know by now anyway, but it's shut . Again.

May be struggling so far then as it appears to be little more than a site full of back slappers and brown noses. Thank God for Len, at least he tells it like it is and isn't afraid to upset a few of you shrinking violets :easy::heart::easy:

Well... no one forces you to post or read here :)

As we always say, if you don't like it, there are plenty of other places to go to where perhaps you may feel more at home.

And as ever, if anyone has any constructive criticism, we welcome it HERE
