Not only are we serial losers, with a play-off hoodoo unmatched by any other club in the land, we are also really rather disliked.

How on earth have we crafted this unique position of being both crap, bottlers, AND a team that actually, no one wants to see break the curse and/or play in the PL?

This notion of being universally disliked is nonsense. And there were plenty of neutrals who wanted us to win yesterday.

Nobody except us wanted us to win..

And all of us expected to lose again..

Everyone's a winner now, except us, but that's nothing new is it.

If we are disliked, I don't think we were any more popular under Hecky, so it's not really because of Wilder. It's probably more that we shat up the PL the last two times we were there, we have a reputation going back decades for playing unattractive football, and our fans behave like knobheads quite often. Then you've got stuff like the Ched Evans saga, which wasn't exactly great PR for us.

Because the football we play is crap and opposing fans can see that, but our fans tolerate it and makes excuses for it because "results matter more." That and Wilder coming across as smug and arrogant when we in and a sulking mardy that when we lose. Fans judge the team on the manager and Wilder is universally despised, even by clubs that we have no rivalry with such as Plymouth.

Yet fans love coming to Bramall Lane. Always reading and viewing what a great place to watch football. I think we are all in a dark place right now. The "world " is not against us, just need a period away from football and regroup when the pain dies down. Changes are coming, new owners will want to win and I hope the plan B is going to be positive for the club. (Plan A was promotion)

We’ve been there and done it recently, and most recently we’ve stunk the place out. People always like the new shiny thing

Warnock was the first to give us a bad name

Then we somehow got made out to be the bad guys in the Tevez saga

Then came the Ched Evans debacle

Then Wilder who is a really unlikeable character

We’re not disliked people just don’t get us . We’re like a world war 2 unexploded bomb . To be treated with caution exciting , dangerous and ultimately a dud .
