A sensible article...

Are you sure it's not that drunken old guy from The Fast Show? ;)

Good article indeed!

Who would believe 'Dailly Mail' and 'good article' would ever be written in the same sentence.

I personally thought it was typical rhetoric from the Daily Heil, a paper that has never said anything favourable about West Ham for as long as I can remember.

Well it certainly makes a change from reading biased Fat Samuels articles.

You're entitled to your own opinion, naturally, but I don't think anyone objective would deny the validity of the claims in that article.

And yes, as mentioned before, it does provide a nice counterpoint for the bile that "Sportswanker of the Year" Samuels spews out.

I've never been a fan of Samuels, despite the fact that he is a West Ham fan, but I have to say it was nice to see someone willing to write an article that didn't just follow the status quo "Slag off the Premier League and call West Ham cheats", like the rest of our wonderful printed press.

Funnily enough, these type seem to be the only ones with direct quotes and evidence. Out of curiousity have you actually read the original panel report and arbitration report?

Maybe perhaps there saying that coz its actually true ?

Oh sorry you didnt cheat you got fined for an "admin error".

If the PL decision is shown to be illegal it will be too late for this year but, as part of the compensation package, we should ask for one of the guaranteed promotion places.

That would be massively unfair on the rest of the football league.

Yeah that wouldnt be fair on the other teams in the championship.

The only real fair way is to relegate west ham and reinstate us.

Cant see them coughing up the full £60mil compo that we deserve.

Fucking hell. We must be from two parallel universes with a completely different press. Most of the anti West Ham articles I've came across have been largely based on mis-information, bigotry, and a false sense of moral injustice that West Ham intentionally set out to swindle another club.

The only real fair way is to to review the rules regarding the whole third party ownership bollocks, then force either West Ham or Man Utd to buy Tevez outright, or not allow him to play in England at all.

This whole mess was caused by the wishy washy rules, and the premier leagues indecisiveness.

West Ham have already had that chance, but they decided to lie to the PL again. And you wonder why your club is vilified?

They said that the agreement between them and Kia Joorabchian was nullified. It clearly was not, as it was not a unilateral agreement that one side could cancel without the agreement of the other. And now it's all coming out, and West Ham and the PL themselves are looking very shady indeed.

one thing that needs to be said is that at this point in time is that most of the points have been raised from items in the press. So we all know how they can "Alter" things.

There have been some statements released by various parties regarding this which we can refer to.

But the wat that i see it as it stands, and from the information that is made available to joe public is that we cant say that WHU DID lie about the agreement being cancelled. Although it does seem that this may be a possible outcome. However by the same account Sendo you cant say that you DIDNT lie, again a possible outcome is that you didnt and as far as WHU are concerned they believed that the agreement had been cancelled, the prem in their wisdom didnt see fit to contact MSI and confirm this, and as a result are once again left with egg on the face, hence why they are so keen to stand in the way if the proposed transfer to manure.

Thats my take on it anyway................feel free to ripp it to shreds

and now for something completely different...................dancing nana's

:nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:

But I thought Tevez was a WHU player already? Seems not maybe.... maybe the rules was still broken for the final 3 games of the season?

Not at all. Your club lied and broke the rules and were not punished proprely for doing so, and both panels admitted as such. It now appears that your club lied again, in saying that the third party ownership part of the contract had been ripped up (which you can't do without bilateral agreement in any case), and thus Tevez was playing at the end of the season in breach of PL rules. That is what is being reported.

West Sham didn't intentionally set out to swindle Sheffield United specifically, but any club which finished 3rd bottom instead of them.

sendo WHU said:

I think you'll find that this mess was caused as a result of your club lying. Twice, by the look of it. The risible decisions from both panels are just the aftermath.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there MAQ.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there MAQ.

It is a possibility, only because of the utter incompetence which has been displayed by the panels and the PL throughout all of this.

I would find it almost incredible that the PL wouldn't make sure the 'wrong had been righted' before clearing Tevez to play though.

Almost.
