Didn't get the win we desperately need in our currently plight, and getting a draw by coming from behind gives the board an excuse to drag out the inevitable sacking of Weir a few more weeks.

A nailed on defeat against Coventry next week will put us back into exactly the same situation as this week in the build upto the Port Vale game.

No doubt another draw in that one will reprieve Weir again before Peterboro pull our pants down and give us a rogering the following week.

We will be entering November (NOVEMBER !!!!!) still in single points.... We are going to need a miracle to stay up.

We are as good as down now our only chance of escaping the drop is to sack the chimp now.

Around a quarter of the season gone, playing like shit for the most and in the relegation zone yet some people still say "give him more time"
This amazing draw against the football powerhouse that is crawley will have them saying "give him an extended contract". FFS
The facts speak for themselves and the league table doesn't lie.
Whatever the philosophy it's not working after all these games- we will be relegated with this ratio of points to games Fact. A point at home against crawley is shit Mr happy clapper/rose tinted vegetarian ok.

There may be the odd glimmer of it being able to work but not enough. GET HIM OUT NOW GO 4-4-2 AND SCORE GOALS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

If we go to coventry and he reverts back to his normal tactics then I be stood on the banks of Sixfields with a fucking rifle

If you think there are some deluded Weir fans on here have a glance at Bladesmad, there are some on there posting that it doesn't matter if we go down as long as we give Weir time to get it right !... What ?????

The thing is, there is no proof he will get it right given time. It grinds me that people want to keep him because of our past failures with other managers. I hope these people never get to make a big decision in their own jobs.

Agreed. A previous high staff turnover doesn't mean you cannot get rid of somebody who is incompetent. Everyone should be looked at on their own merits.

This is true. The myth about 'stability' can either get you the excellent Arsene Wenger. Or it can get you David Moyes who was happy to tread water at Everton for 13 years.

Conversely, two of the best teams in Europe sack managers at the drop of a hat - Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Weir is turning into a self-fulfilling prophesy - he was welcomed (and still gets the 'give him time' from some) precisely because he hadn't got the usual baggage of failure when he was appointed. Trouble is, the very reason he didn't have previous is because he'd never managed before. And don't we just know it.
