Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone on here can help me out. My wife gave birth to our first born Saturday - a little boy. I'm desperately trying to source him a little home shirt from this season; not sure on sizes just after the smallest they made. Club shop got nothing and nothing on eBay.

I'm not holding out much hope but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats.
Scougall might have a spare home shirt he could lend you?

2/3 were the smallest and only made home as got for my small 3 year old, but couldn't buy away one in that size! They are quite big and would be more than few months before would be any good. Luckily we had macron when he was born who made them 0-6months sizes

Macron used to do really small full kits (and included socks), however Adidas start there range at 4/5 yrs old I think (without socks).

A '100% Blade' tattoo is the obvious alternative.
Maybe start with 1 % leaving a space for more zeros as he gets older?

My 2 year old is soon fit to burst out of his kit. I am not one for keeping kits and he will be upgraded when next season's out. you can have my boys as soon as the new kit is out if you like?

Congratulations by the way!

Thanks for replies. Sounds daft but it's not particularly for him to wear as such. Maybe in a few months for the odd photo etc. But it's more as a keepsake due to the being the champions same year he was born!

You could see if the shop sell big Teddy Bears with the shirt on???

Does it have a fire safety certificate?

That's a lovely gesture. If you're sure you're happy to do that then yeah definitely! I will PM you.

Congratulations!
If you are after a keepsake to possibly get framed and hang in his red and white nursery, I suggest getting a baby grow with "my first Blades kit on". These are available from the club shop, then take it into main reception and I am sure that the ladies will arrange to have it taken up to shirecliffe for all the players to,sign.
All the best to you and yours.

This is the contact you need for any signing requests - she's very helpful and you always get a timely response.

I believe modern thinking is to simply paint the child in red and white stripes, that way you're both saving money and allowing your offspring the free choice to support Sheffield United in later life, thus, no blame/no hang up's coming back to you!
Here to help.

Congratulations mate, another Blade condemned to a lifetime of pain and suffering with brief moments of joy! My kids thank me every day!!!!
:)

Congrats. Which are you going to call him, Christopher or William?

While we're on this sort of topic...

A pig fan mate of my Dads won a signed shirt (Sharp and O'Connell) and very kindly gave it him knowing his grandson, my lad, was a massive blade.

It's an XL so it will be several decades until it fits him snuggly - leading me to ask, anyone know of any decent places who could frame it at a fair price?
