A persistent problem

Doesn't help when we've gone to a back four or 5 on quite a few occasions. We've took duffy off, brought Stearman on to stem the tide and we look like we haven't a clue who's supposed to be doing what.

Said it before a few times, wilders 'defensive' subs has cost us many points this season and he doesnt' seem to learn from it.

100% correct. We alaways concede ground when we change tactics to see the game out. In L1 it was eye for an eye tooth for a tooth why go away from this? It invites teams on and today it bit us on the arse T rex style.

Tonight's result is 2 more points lost as a result of a problem that's been obvious all season.

10 minutes from the end, in too many games the defence allows itself to be pushed back to the edge of the penalty area and can't get forward.

Agree, however in recent games, like last week against Bolton we’ve improved this side of our game and manage out matches better by keeping solid possesion.

I remember Chris saying when we got promoted he spoke to Eddie Howe about the best way to take on the championship and he said attack attack attack. We did that until Fulham H last yr but we have lost it since then , I understand why but I thin we are better defensively now so let keep on going for it, no one will say no

You're not allowed to.lay any blame at Wilders feet. Even the slightest suggestion means you're a pig and should go join pork talk.
I learned this tonight.
I hope Chris Lear ed something tonight.

Ffs were set up for attack attack attack.
Why go defensive?
Silly sausage.

We just took Dowell off, brought Cranie on into Bash's position, and push him into midfield and go 352...i don't see a problem with that, but we did start to give them the ball back and give daft Free Kicks away.
2 Keeper errors and a sliced JOC Clearance cost us.

We've been caught out too many times by 'going for it'. The reason we're 3rd in the table now, just 2 points off top, is because Wilder has learned not to be too reckless

Utter bollocks.

You can't legislate for your keeper being a complete cunt and your best CB dropping a fookin clanger...

Villa couldn't live with us up to the subs, I was hoping we were staying as we were and not bring subs on, but mistakes cost us tonight not the change of shape.

As good as we've been we have shown a soft under belly against teams.

What frustrates the fuck out of me is that it's not as simple as saying we're not good enough.

Too many points have been dropped through avoidable reasons. Bad decisions yes at times, but I'm sorry, a lack of bottle too.

Wilder says we're brave but tonight we showed we weren't when it mattered. As we have in other games that have seen points thrown away.

As daft as it may sound when people talk about overachieving, but the reason we're not a few points clear at the top isn't down to ability. It's down to composure and calmness.
