In a week. I think we get the win tomorrow and over the next few days we announce Godfrey, Mee, Tanganga and Nils Z and everything feels a lot different. I think we’ve got to be careful to judge the club too quickly before the end of the window.

The one positive I have on Selles is that he looks actively fuming from sidelines. He’s been shafted by owners up to now, but deserves 6 weeks to see what he can do.

I boldly predict things will look a lot more positive in a weeks time.

Ultimately every transfer window can only be judged when it closes. But it's frustrating that we've not got players in before start of season as we've started very slowly obviously.

At some point we have to take some pain to change the playing style to one which could adapt to premier league football better than we have done in recent times..

The changes being made are for the future, not for the here and now, try to see it as Jokanavic part two, but hopefully with the funds to buy the players that will be successful in the system theyre trying to change to..

Also, chopping and changing managers is a recipie for under achieving, just look at Watford..

To me a playing style with which you can stay up in the prem would most likely be a tough defence and lightning fast on the break plus efficiently taking the few opportunities you're going to get against better teams. I've not really seen any of that just yet.

Difference being, we were to have a very frustrating end to the transfer window. Hopefully the last week of this window will see us bring in some heavy artillery and take us up a level
