(My comments in brackets - I've misspelt Brussels)
Dear Micalijo
Since my last letter to you dated 3rd April 2013 much has happened in the life of the Blades! (yes he did put an !)
Regrettably promotion back to the Championship again eluded Sheffield uNited with yet another play-off defeat. Nonetheless nothing daunts the Blades and the reader will recognise, it was decided that a comprehensive overhaul of our football management team was needed and this has taken place as we welcome David Weir as our new team manager. David's background and pedigree speaks for itself and with the support if Adam Owen and Lee Crasley, coupled with an overhaul of the forst team squad - which has seen a number of new players join the Blades - we are well progressed in being up and ready for the new season which kicks off at Bramall Lane on 2nd August.
In celebration of the 125th Year of the Football League, SUFC who are the world's oldest United with the world's oldest professional football stadium play NCFC the world's oldest pro football club.
The re-organisation of SUplc finalising the standalone SUFC was conl;cudeda couple of months ago and thus as I write this updated missive, the opportunities for us to procur partner investors to teh club have, I believe, increased. I hope to have further info of progress in the coming months. (this makes me feel sick).
So as we get nearer to KO, I say to all thanks for your support (no problem McWobblegob) as we really are a first class club who continue to be creative (please explain) and strive to get back to the top echelons of English football.
Up The Blades
Regards, YS
