The pigs 'goal' not given the other day had us all highly amused, however, I'm pretty sure we once scored against Leeds at the lane under similar circumstances, with Bremner and his fellow twats arguing with the ref we stuck the ball in the net and the ref gave a goal. Anybody else remember this?

Yes, it was on that Tuesday night in August 1971, we were leading with a John Flynn header and late in the game at the Kop End the ref decided against a foul for L**ds despite the strong appeals. While the furious players hassled the ref, one of our players played a long ball to Stewart Scullion (I think) on the left side of the penalty box at the Lane End and the Scot squared the ball (which fooled the onrushing Gary Sprake) to Bill Dearden on the right (Paul Madeley was the only L**ds player making a chase with Dearden) and it was Billy who slid in the 2nd goal. Shortly after big Eddie made it 3-0

Bert remembers it well, over 40,000 there that night.

thats the night some Leeds fans came on the kop around half past 5 trying to take it I remember coming in near the old stairwell in the corner and a leeds fan hitting the deck after "falling" off the wall

What was the one my Dad always tells me about that went in the net, hit the stanchion and came back out but the goal wasn't given?

v Grimsby 29/9/84. Glenn Cockerill. I was there. It was at the Lane end and was 0-0 at the time. Grimsby then took a 3-0 lead via a Gary Lund hat trick. We pulled two back via Philliskirk and a last minute Morris pen but ended up losing 3-2.

A classic night - didn't just beat them, murdered them.

One of the Leeds players started to chase back, saw he couldn't make it, and turned round and joined the rest who were all over the ref. I think we hit the woodwork two or three times as well, if memory serves.

I'd gone to the game as usual with mates from work, and the following day was pretty special as well - when we got to work, we made out a list, shared out the phone numbers, and rang all our Leeds customers to help them celebrate...

I remember this night, it was another of the great nights that we had at Bramall Lane, unfortunately few and far between, but when they happen, they are very special.

My first game at the Lane. No wonder I got hooked :-)
