An interesting day yesterday, started going to my local club, Hednesford, to watch them in the Conference North against Bradford Park Avenue. Apparently, being from Bradford means you can catch the ball without being penalised, as well as rugby tackling, as we all saw in the evening match!
Anyway, I went to the pub to watch the United match and ended up next to BPA fans and asked about Willis and Banton. They weren't particularly impressed by Banton, saying he was slower than he looks! Willis they said was treated a bit unfairly. They said he was a bit naive, but got dropped after clearing the ball into the defender/striker and it looping back into the goal. (They then lost 5-0 the next match but he still didn't get his place back!)
If anyone if interested, Hednesford scored early then BPA dominated possession without looking dangerous but scored an equaliser with a bullet header
