A 90 minute performance

When was the last time we played well for the full 90? Villa we held on for most of the 90. On as big a game as this, it warranted a full 90 minutes playing our best. We barely got 20 minutes. If players aren't fired up for these games there are deeper issues going on at this football club. Wilder has improved the team performance but it is still lacking to get much needed wins in this league. I don't the answer, but it will take a frickin miracle of biblical proportions to keep us in this league.

We’re down and it’s time to be ruthless but somehow I don’t see it coming. The past it dross will be offered one year extensions “because they’ll be good in the Championship”. We’ll still have remnants of the 2019 squad in next seasons team no doubt about that. We never look forward, always try and make do. Of the team today including subs, there a case to be made for at least several to be let go. Money and wages saved to be spent on 20 to 25 year old up and coming and experienced Championship players, and all hopefully above 5 foot 2. And we need to get the.squad fit, both physically and mentally. Blowing out of their arses after 60-70 minutes impacts their concentration. Hence goals conceded late on.
