We are awful creativity wise in midfield and awful upfront.

Pretty simple Prince Abdullah needs to get the chequebook out otherwise we will be back in the championship next season.

For me we need 2 x new strikers

And a new attacking midfielder

Lundstrum lost any credibility with his demeanour against Southampton. He lunged in against wolves and the pen was poor. Perfect height for keeper. Norwood has to start for me, his passing is beautiful. Plus, can we start beating the first mean at corners!!!

Back Wilders judgement now because his previous judgement about which strikers are good enough for the Prem was so good?

TBH I’m beginning to feel the judgement of the whole ownership and management on purchases has been poor with one exception Sander Burge arguably Hendo but that was just a loan.
we have a squad of grafters, punts and declining players. There’s some positive with the likes of Bogle and Lowe but any club wanting to stay in PL and be successful needs to buy in some quality as I said Berge is the closest to that but if things go south someone will nick him for what we paid and no more.

It was ruined. The whole gameplan and style had to change last night and we very nearly played a blinder. Nobody should ever miss a penalty, but i'm not going to get on his back for it.

Proud of the workrate they put in last night. Restricted Villa to half chances by cutting out the passing lines well and generally being disciplined in our positioning. Being more clinical up front and we could've equalised a couple of times in the last 10-15 mins.

I would've rather lost a man against Ars, Chel, Man C or Liverpool than last night - we're expected to lose those games anyway. Last night was a game we would be looking for minimum a point. I'm sure we would've got that too without the red.

True but that's our own fault, we made mistakes and paid the price, whether we agree with the red card or not. Teams which make silly mistakes will get punished and quite possibly relegated.

We've started the season as bad as it can be, we know what we need to do, it's up to the management and players to respond. The team have a perfect opportunity to silence the critics against Leeds, a local derby and the first win of the season would really get us going, we need it given the game ahead.
