Yes, but (and at the risk of getting my head bitten off) Wilder has repeatedly said that what is done is done, it's about moving forward.

I doubt anyone on here will ever forget how Wilder dragged us out of the wilderness and put us at the top table, and it style. The bloke will always be a legend to me, whatever happens. But if this season carries on in the same way it has started, I wouldn't hold it against anyone who felt that the shine had been taken off things a bit.

As it happens, I still think there is plenty of time to sort it out. Get a win or 2 on the board going into January, and then a couple of new faces, and we'll see.

It's a Stretch to think that anyone will want to join us this January !

If the focus is on loans, then it will be fine. There are plenty of players out there who are out of favour and will jump at the chance of regular PL football, even in a team that is struggling. In fact, that is often the best situation to stand out and make a difference.

I think we should judge his overall performance at the end of the 2021/22 season.
If we are in the Prem then he his outstanding if we are in the Championship for a second season then perhaps a change is needed.
There are other permutations that could happen .
