Well ( A ) it confirms all that the oinkers like to say about their infinitely better support is complete bollox

( B ) its a very nice reminder that our support has been nothing short of magnificent bearing in mind that this is our 6th ( sixth ) consecutive year in this division .

( C ) it will be bigger than a majority of 111 when the season finishes . We still have a sold out game to play at the Lane before the final comparison is made . The majority will almost certainly be closer to 500 per game . Over the course of a season this equates to apprx 21,000 more paying spectators over the course of a season .

I find these kind of statistics relevant as it helps to fuel some nice inter-city banter . Its just another element of footballing rivalry in the city that i find really enjoyable .

We probably have 60% of the fans that live in Sheffield and we should get a better deal off the local media .
