Used to make me smile secretly to myself, when “Perfect Day” was briefly mainstream again in the form of some fucking awful charity cover version (or an advert?), 15 or so years ago, and was hummed to death by one of my unknowing, gormless, smug, holier than thou, puritanical in-laws (now former in laws), day in day out for months.
