Oldham are dreadful
the only positive we can have is we are better than Doncaster who slipped into the bottom 4

Adkins has gradually got worse, I was prepared to support him up till January but his inability to bring in any even free transfers was the beginning of the end of my patience for him , since then hes proving to more inept with every passing week

Is Adkins pissed off with the job, does he play Salmon to try and get out with compo?

Many a true word spoken in jest Grumpy . Adkins came out with some weird comments regarding the team selection and performance today . He has not covered himself in glory , and as nobody outside the blades support is bothered about us , and would just see us a a trigger happy sacking club if he did get the boot .

It would be better PR if he did get the sack , as resigning would be a show of weakness and failure in the football world . The LMA like there members to get the sack and be paid up .

If we didn't know better , we would all think that the bloke is trying to orchestrate the sack at the same time as getting rid of the chaff . The guy totally confuses me.

We are only 6 points off,,,playoffs yet some fans throw in the towel,,,,wevebeen on a bad run but can easily turn it around,,,,ask Leeds fans or Bolton fans if they'd have taken a 1-0 narrow defeat,,,,

Ive argued all season it was possible even now , but Adkins doesnt believe it ,as today showed so how can we put a run together
statistically it was do able , with the right man at the helm , but it aint going to happen

Barnsley have shown coming from dicing with a bottom 4 fight to move into 6th how possible it was
but we had the wrong man guiding us

Relegation form, exactly what Haslam did with us in the 2nd half of 79/80 season, then took us down the season after. McCabe get rid of this fool now, and then resign yourself, lets get all the deadwood out at boardroom and managerial level. We need someone (new Chairman and new manager) with vibrancy, vision and the drive to take us forward.

although we have played 15 games in 2016 one was at old trafford
weve won 4 and drawn 3 of 14 league games so have 15 points from 14 games
a fraction over 1 point per game
still naff mind

the 4 games we had in December we won all 4, then it went tits up

They're bang average and so is every other club up there. The points total for the top two is very low. There is no good team in the division.

I think we (Millwall) are a good team - just took us a while to adjust, plus playing a lot of academy graduates, who are naturally inconsistent.

We thought this would be a season of regrouping & finishing midtable...but, yes, you are right, the division is poor...amazed our rookie manager & kids are doing so well.

You beat the worst team we've ever had 1-0 at home, trust me... you ain't a good team!

Wasnt my cup of tea , would have been 5 years ago , but some managers hit a peak then fade away
Adkins peaked and is going downhill fast like Eddie the Eagle
hmm, I think there could equally be other factors at play. We haven't had a manager be successful at our club for a while now, and we've certainly been through a few.

That's what I've been thinking until....

...Salmon picked today.

Perhaps, just perhaps we would have too close the play offs if we had won today and it is a plan?

Do you know of anyone who would buy out McCabe???

I can just picture the scene...

Rovers sack Ferguson, we sack Adkins....

Hour later, breaking news from BDTBL...

Son Of Alex is our new manager.. qualifications for getting out of L1...
Kev buys the KY and we all promptly bend over ...

Always admired Ferguson , know his dad very well , who recommended Robson to us . Unfortunately it didn't work out . Tried to get Furguson when he was at Peterborough.

We have too many players on the books. Ferguson will be the man to get us out of league 1

Many a true word spoken in jest , in the comedy of errors stadium.

Quite a few players worse than Sammon today. Done, Basham, Flynn were awful
That's akin to saying...."in the valley of the blind, the one eye'd man is king"

Don't know if they were really any worse but certainly, Done and Basham were poor. As for Flynn, he had his (1 in 5) decent game the other week.

4 wins from 15 is utterly abysmal in this league of mediocrity.

With players like Bily Sharpe and Marty Done at your disposal who are proven goal scorers, with a midfield that never chips in, with a defence that can't seem to keep clean sheets, poor management must be a factor.
