8 defensive???? Baldock and Stevens doing what they do best and 2 holding mids...Berge is our best attacking midfielder although not his strongest position. Rhian has played what? 4 games maybe....Jesus Christ!!

Interesting idea but I just don’t see it. Asking a lot to bring Bogle out of nowhere to play in that position and he never plays Bash in a back 4.

For me it's a big no, for a number of reasons :
Firstly, I don't think Basham suits playing in a 4. He's very front footed and likes to be able to attack, you can't do that from there.

Secondly, Berge signed as a holding midfielder and we've now got him to play on the right, we now think he can play as a 10?

Bogle is a right back not a midfielder.
Brewster as a lone striker is a big ask for a man who's never played in the Prem. Not to mention we own 5 or 6 strikers, which is beyond excessive to then only play one.

For me that team screams square peg and round hole.

I gey that people want to see things change, but we have to have the personnel to play the recommended formation. As soon as it's people playing way out of position, it just loses credibility, imho.

petrkatchuro I dislike that formation and the players you've selected to make it work but I've given you a 'like' for effort since it looks like you are genuinely trying to find a solution to our woes.
